Conferment of the Insignia of MRG to the Chairman of the IEC

In recognition of the services he has rendered over the past years and continues to render to the nation, the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC); Alhaji Mustapha L. Carayol, was on Saturday 2nd May, 2009, conferred with the Insignia of MRG by His Excellency the President of The Republic of The Gambia; Professor Dr. Alhagie Yahya A. J. J. Jammeh at a colourful ceremony held at the State House in Banjul.
